Account Manager 


Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, innovative and high energy individual to take on the role of Account Manager. This is a Mid-Level position and the ideal candidate is expected to manage and maintain both new and existing partnerships. You will be a trusted “advisor”, delivering superior client service, assisting partners with our platform and ensuring they receive maximum value from our solution throughout their lifecycle.   The role will be based in our NYC office. 


  • Identify business needs and improve upon our existing approaches to partner engagement and account management leveraging our platform
  • Liaison between internal sales and partners to manage expectations and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage all pre-planning and post-sale activities through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution
  • Develop a trusted relationship with partners to ensure goals are aligned from a business strategy perspective and metrics for success are identified
  • Serve as the advocate for the partner and provide internal feedback on how we can better serve them to maximize the relationship, value and retention
  • Constantly assess partner needs and perform “health checks” to drive satisfaction, adoption, retention and reduce churn
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product and services to ensure our partners receive the most relevant features/functionality for their specific requirements
  • Work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to identify and track enhancement requests
  • Handle escalations and work across all teams to resolve issues
  • CRM Management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on market and industry trends
  • Achieve revenue and growth targets 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related studies
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management or relationship management, representing enterprise software with an exceptional track record of managing metrics and achieving targets
  • Demonstrated and verifiable track record in leading the entire software sales life cycle
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experienced building relationships with C-Level executives within large organizations
  • Must be conversationally fluent within the domain of financial technology
  • Very detail oriented, highly analytical, problem solver
  • Extraordinary judgment and composure in high-pressure situations
  • Positive mindset
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency in executing and delivering
  • Start-up mentality- not afraid to roll up sleeves
  • Comfortable working in an environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to travel frequently for conferences and partner meetings
